Meet Your Award Winning Kitchen Designer

Caroline Davies is an award-winning kitchen and interior designer whose work has not only been featured in leading U.K magazines but has led to her achieving the Kitchen, Bed and Bath (KBB) Kitchen Designer of the Year Award. Caroline’s design experience and expertise have aided her in naturally progressing to the design of higher-end kitchens which is where she evidently excels.

Caroline has always had creativity and perfectionism in her work. She first started out as an interior designer and florist where she would dress homes for occasions such as Christmas and help in choosing the ideal colour schemes for weddings. Caroline was introduced into the kitchen industry by her father Bryn Davies. Bryn founded Aristocraft in November 1981, basing his business off the extensive experience he gained from serving as a regional director for Schreiber Furniture, who was one of the pioneer companies that introduced self-assembly fitted kitchens. Caroline went on to shadow her father for 6 months and gain extensive knowledge before being fully set in the business and now 15 years on is designing award winning kitchens which exceed her client’s expectations.

When designing your kitchen Caroline aims to be more than just an acquaintance. She’ll build a relationship with you many other businesses overlook, which therefore ensures the process is seamlessly executed from start to finish. In Caroline’s design process, she works by appointment only, guaranteeing you a perfect amount of time to discuss designs, colours and materials. She then works off your architects' plans or completes a site survey, which aids in construction of a mood board and in turn sparks ideas for colour schemes, materials and finishes. The final part of Caroline’s ‘design journey’ with yourself is a CAD drawing. This benefits her clients as it is easy to see layouts and how each part of your chosen kitchen works within the space. Throughout the process Caroline is always there to help; she will not only be on site on installation but can also help with interior design queries such as sourcing tables, chairs or soft furnishings that will fit in with your kitchen.

Her exceptional talent in design has led to Caroline attaining many achievements and awards. Ideal Homes Magazine and Kitchen Design Magazine are just some of the companies which have recognised and published Caroline’s work. She has also taken part in KBB’s Retail & Design Awards where her designs were presented to a panel of judges including Kevin McCloud and Linda Barker. Caroline then went onto win the Designer of the Year award in 2004 and was a finalist out of a remaining 4 in 2017. She has also attained many trophies for her designs and expertise in the industry.
